In a time long forgotten, there was once a world connected to Hylia's Land. These days are now tales in the pages of history books and fairytales. These were the days of kings, demons, and deities. A time when the Light Spirits were revered and loved by the people, and a time when the great deity, Lunereas, watched high in the sky from his home. This ancient world is known as Ikana.

While Hylia's land was in its young stages at war against Demise, Ikana appeared to be a fine land. Overlaying the kingdom seemed to be unity and harmony among the people. This amazing land was lead by the great king, Igos Du Ikana. Under his rule at the Kingdom of Ikana, his law stood firm. But underneath this golden harmony was a darkness… Prejudice, pleasure, greed… Ikana was not without its sin. And the monsters knew this well. Looking close, the country was falling apart at the seams and unity was shattering… That is when the world's blood came to the surface and the shadows were truly seen.

Underneath the earth of this dying world, a gang of thieving outcasts survived and made names for themselves through greed and bloodshed. The tale follows their adventures through Ikana in its shattering days. This gang were the lowest of the low, and of kinds eyes glared down to and faces snarled upon. Lead by Midas Leavance- a rogue tunnel scrub, and his brother Kaiser- a rogue royal scrub, their gang of monsters were out to make people know their names. They had rupees to their names for murder and theft. Midas felt pride for being more than objects to kick and animals to skin- they were far more. And one day, he'd have the king himself bowing at his feet… At least, he dreamed. His people and the other monsters would no longer quiver in fear of swords and arrows. Even if he had to kill… One day, he'd walk into that throne room, and his brother and he would take everything and be the hero monster-kind deserves.

But one outlander may make his goal a challenge...

It'll be nice to finally delve into the backstory I have for Ikana (the name of Termina back in the day). It'll definitely be a bit heavier than my current work however, but I feel like it'll make a fun ride because I'll be working on something of a different atmosphere. That, and a change of pace may relieve some stress for me. I have been REALLY looking forward to Fool's Gold. Anyway, hope you guys are looking forward to it…~ We'll finally get to see the adventures of Midas and his family.
