Description
I finished Shadows over Termina 20 while I was away. It took me a while to get to making the cover for obvious reasons; Everything aside from the background and effects was lined, colored, and shaded in MS Paint. I really wanted to challenge myself with this one. The Garugor gave me a difficult challenge with not only shading, but the angle. That beautiful beast is murderous to draw at angles, haha. I changed the color a bit on this Garugor from the original design (since I imagine there are more than one).The Garugor leaps up for a bite out of Valous, and everyone is probably close to piddling themselves- if they could.
I do wish I would fix Ilye, she looks like she's kind of half-on Valous' back. But other than that, I'm very proud of the outcome of this one. I'm so happy to have finished this chapter. Stress has made writing hard lately, so it was difficult for me to stick to it. If I find the time, I'll post it up tonight~!

It does have a Dragon Ball Z atmosphere to it- especially with them being chased by a giant dinosaur-esque beast XD

Okay, I get that you wanted a challenge, but... WHY ON EARTH DO IT IN MS PAINT!?!? That's not a challenge, that's plucking your finger and toenails out one by one. Get some rest, sheesh.
Wonderful job on this though. That mouth especially looks like ot was the stuff of nightmares trying to get it right. Not quite sure I see what you're talking about with Ilye. I guess maybe sorta kinda if I squint hard enough, but the only issue with her is it seems her right foot was cut off on the island. =/

Thank you! The mouth and the head were the biggest issues. I'm not used to drawing heads shaped like the garugors. But It was fun to draw still, I was very happy that I stuck to the plan for this picture.
Ah, Ilye, to me, is not sitting on the center line of Valous' mane and looks like she's sliding off to me. Though now that you mention it, her right foot IS gone. Crap!

Yes, that beasty comes in a large range of tropical colors cause there is more than one. ;3 That angle is brilliantly done--love the details you've added like bleeding wounds and that shine on the golden parts.

Ahh, thank you~! <333 It has been ages since I've fully shaded something in MS Paint like I did the garugor. I thought it'd be a cool throwback to you since your style is to color in MS Paint. It makes me happy to know I did good~! : D I still adore its design, it's so beautiful! Boy is it a challenge to draw at angles though- I love it!

There are plenty of its kind out there--which is why their scales, horns and fins have a value to them. The trick is killing them so that those valuables can be extracted and sold. If they can find a use for its body parts/fluids/organs, hunters will hunt them down just to get them. I imagine they can live in colder waters too, not just warmer waters too. Warmer waters bare tropical colored Garugors while colder ones have--you guess it--chilly, deep colored ones. Can you just imagine seeing one of these giant beasts just suddenly crashing through a frozen-over lake? The amount of power behind it and how vicious it may seem for a battle? *w* (I've played too much Monster Hunter and Skyrim LOL)
That makes me SO excited to hear you'd like to use it again. 
I'm thinking that the Garugor species can/would have physical difference to them depending on their environment, which also makes me want to try and draw a more 'realistic' looking Garugor just to try out different physical designs for that beautiful beasty. <3
