I was so exicting to recognize mr Ken Stott as Balin
when at first time I've watched the Hobbit
I really like his tandem with young David Tennant
at Takin' Over The Asylum series from early 90'
actually it was the only film with this actor I've seen before
but it is so memorise for me,
so in a cinema when my friend was exciting about mr Armitage's Thorin
I was like:
- Heeey!!! See?! its Eddie!
- ???
- THAT DJ! with Campbell! See? 
- ...
and you did so nice work!
and yes, the beard
