wow. I really like it. The effect of the blurred snow and the icicles, its very reminiscent of the photos of the light fixtures on the Titanic.
Anyway I think its a wicked shot.

You know, I swear that I have seen the pictures that I mentioned online, but I tried to find them all I got was a heck of a lot of Leonardo de Caprio pictures. Sorry, perhaps they're only in books.....

Thank you.... I was on holiday with a group of guys, all walking down to a local bar... I saw the lamp like that and felt I had to stop and take the picture.... then catch them all up.
They thought it a bit weird/pointless to photograph a streetlight; but your appreciation, time-shifted, on the other side of the world, and in a very different climate, has just given vindicated its raison d'Γͺtre.
