It does make her seem "rugged"at this perspective! The USS Macon was so much "shinier and smoother" than her older sibling! Of course the poor Akron had the older, smudgy-er/oilier water recovery, and was housed on the East Coast..which made her silver colored fabric turn "dirty gray" from all of that lovely smoke-stack sooth from the industrial areas of the area!
