Β» Image analyze Β«

I do not often comment pictures in depth, but this really caught my eye at the first glance.

Let’s start of with the image composition where you have succeeded in taking good care of the lines, curves and shapes to get more depth for the picture.

This together with well weighted foreground, middle ground and a nice background makes it interesting to analyze even further and also leads the eye into the picture which an very important element.

The colors are beautiful mixed as you have been able to get some of the contrast colors just so right as it can be. This helps in setting the mood of the picture.

As the eye is natural drawn to contrast people tend to overdo this to such an extend that it ruins the picture. This is also something that your picture show that the photographer behind it has a good feeling for it.

You have focused wisely on the parts you would like to stand out to the audience to make them get the first impression of the picture.

What I miss is perhaps some of the small details in the shadowed parts, they are hard to get right but with a combination of the above and some post process in photoshop you will be able to get it absolute right in the future.

Keep up the good work!

/Daniel

I was convinced for the longest time that there was a butterfly in the droplet. Or behind the droplet, because a butterfly inside the droplet would have to be very very small. But in any case, in confused me to know end how on earth there was a butterfly.

I thought you had been talking to it, not the droplet. >.<

nope, no butterfly, sorry to disappoint.

It was sort of a relief, actually. Because that means that there's no butterfly on the verge of death and no more need for me to contemplate what the hell a butterfly was doing out in the rain or how it got small enough to fit inside a raindrop.

Wow that's awesome
You should go to Chat > Thumbshare
That's a chatroom where you post your thumbs for your deviations for others to see and view
It gets you more pageviews, Favorites, and stuff like that
In order to post a thumb there,
Copy the number of your deviation [Found at the end of the address page]
And paste it there> :thumb PASTEHERE :
But without any spaces.
So the thumb for this one would be
:thumb21132705:
And you would copy paste that code into the chat and press return!!!
Phew that took quite a while
lol

this is truly brilliant. it's actually this kind of photograph that makes me want to be a photographer, and i must say, of the photos that do that for me, this is one of the prettiest. The vivid color of the leaf is beautiful, and i like the amount of focus aimed towards the droplet, the background is so distant, such a . . . background. i'd give it a 10 out of 5 if my vote counted.
