Been watching the Hobbit - Behind the Scenes videos - needless to say, I am fairly excited to spend a December weekend in good company again. So I started drawing a damn forest. XDDeadDear just kinda fit in don't they?

Wonderful landscaping. I love the lighting and colors, very lovely. And the foreground ghostly stag is really interesting and beautiful. My only concern is what I think is another ghostly deer in the background? It doesn't look quite right, and distracted me slightly since it looks a little too unclear what it is, and too "out of place" in the piece (more like a bit of unfinished canvas, rather than an object). This is however a very small detail in a piece filled with lovely, well-placed and thought-out details. Very well done!

Amazing! I love this~ The colors you picked out are very natural and forest-y, and even though I imagined Lothlorien more ethereal and possibly more ... surreal? Dream-like? Possessing more unnatural-ish lighting? This is still beautiful, and i espsecially love your shading and attention to detail. ^^
