This was an absolute pleasure to make. Firstly the pattern taught me that I could smock as I knit, rather than having to sew later and battle with keeping it neat and tearing my hair out. And despite adapting it to knit partially flat, the pattern was so well written it was a breeze. I was asked to create an opening in the back and add buttons to help it stay in shape better with use. I did have a moment when I finished blocking it that thought it would never sit right on the shoulders despite all I had done to make it do so, but when I put it on my model it happened like magic. Really very pleased with it!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I was stunned to be awarded a daily deviation and have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love for my work, the new watchers, the favourites the comments. It came on a day when I had been struggling with a very stressful time and its absolutely incredible. Thank you all!
