K so here's the finished version of the sketch I posted the other day. It's probably shortly after her battle with Nightmare Moon: perhaps that night, or the next or a few after. She casts a light spell to help light her way as she looks over her lands and swears to protect them.Paid careful attention to the background, trying to create something that looked handmade, paper cut outs with pastels, and the stars down by flicking paint onto the bg . . .
Ponies © Hasbro and whatnot, even though they can't figure out she's not pink . . .
