Yellow Staghorn -Bug/FireIf you come across this species, it is a sure sign that a forest is healthy as it is rare and elusive to most, usually so well camouflages in the log piles that it goes unnoticed. Its one larger claw is used for crushing attacks and as a display come mating season. It picks up logs all through its life developing the perfect armoured hide for its spoors to develop amongst.

Since it is a zombie bug taken over by a mushroom, and it has several logs pieces that are on fire....does it smell like rotting flesh, burning wood, decaying logs, AND roasted mushrooms?

Actually those orange-yellow bits on the logs are a species of fungi, named the same as its parasect variation, they grow wild and locally where i live and i took a lot of reference from them, they grow like coral and give a punch of colour in autumn. By all means give it a quick google, its a beautiful thing for sure!
I think id like to believe they smell like when you throw a bucket of water on a campfire, just all the time, but roasted mushrooms as a smell are so earthy and nutty it would make sense to have that lingering too! Thats a really nice thought for them too, sometimes when your being so visual with designs, you forget to tap into other senses like smell. Your take on it is a really nice angle, refreshing!

hahaha oh I wish! think of the moneyyyyyy! But honestly pokemons what you make it. They gave us such a great template for ideas, theres no way if it were a real thing, variations wouldnt be out there
