Description
A melted candy/chocolate/cereal treat Ninten (from EarthBound: Zero) that I made to put on my Magicant theme birthday cake back in January.
He melted before I could get photos of him, so the only photos of him are like this; deformed, slimy, and missing an arm.
He's standing on a rice crispy treat base (that has some chocolate cake on it) in this picture; he has pretzels in his legs that go beyond his shoes, into the treat to keep him standing.
He was my first attempt at making a modeling chocolate figure.

He is made out of dark chocolate, white chocolate, various colored vanilla candy melts, rice crispy treats, and pretzels.

I was really upset when he melted, because he had such perfect form prior. Each little strand of hair was defined. I honestly felt it was the greatest thing I had ever made in my life.
I'm not exaggerating either, I was so proud...
Then when I went to put him on the cake, the cake collapsed. The whole thing was obliterated. Crushed cake everywhere.
I even made an awesome Magicant Obelisk, it was wicked cool, but I didn't get photos of it. It looked like a big, candy joint.
The unfortunate demise of my several days of work was incredibly saddening. I hope that maybe one day, I'll be better at cake decorating and will be able to try again.

..... I ate him.
He was absurdly delicious.
I mean wow. Even if he melted and the project didn't go well, the fantastic taste was still there, and everyone who ate the destroyed cake loved it.
(except I was the only one who ate Ninten. My Ninty!)
