Grazie!

yes, it's Lovercraft!!!! to be precise is an illustration for an adventure made for the role-game of Call of Cthulu, taken from the books of Lovecraft.

I use inkpen and a bit of brush.

I LOVE Lovecraft have several books of his work actually went through a phase where that's all I would read ^.o but i have yet to see a good movie based on his work :s

brush? sorry, i'm beginning to think brush might be a reference to digital work? i'm not very familiar with that realm

Yes, unfortunately I think there never was a good film based on Lovecraft, what a shame!!!
I also love lovercarft, this was a great pleasure to make this draw for a role-game based on his books.

What do you mean when you say that the brushes are a reference for digital works? Brush and ink are the basic tools for inking, all classic comic artist have always inked with brushes.

i don't read up much on comic artists but i have tried to apply ink to some of my stuff with brushes and it's not always a success. . . can you tell me about the technique you use to do that? is there a certain weight? of paper that it works best on?

Of course the paper is important, but is not fundamental, there are two really important things: good brushes (usually using Windsor & Newton Series 7 # 1 or 2) and exercise time. Do not worry if the early results do not seem satisfactory, it happened at all, even for professionals! Over time your artwork will look much more professional ...

more or less ... He is a mad priest who is in possession of a magical object that allows him to awaken the dead. Certainly he is not a funny guy

I think he will be very happy to have a BFF, the zombies are cute, but not too much talkative ...
