What I originally had in mind, actually, since it is a historical example of a Bourbonic state in Italy. Wanted to leave it vague though.

A "Duchy of Pisa" under Bourbon rule, perhaps? That's what the colour scheme makes me think of, anyway.
It doesn't look *that* modern, but yeah; calling it a redesign would probably work.

Red and white... Yep. Though I think Pisa would never truly abandon their cross, but rather incorporate it. Something like small fleur-de-lis/Pisan cross/small fleur-de-lis.
