I adore the deep contrast between the darkness and shadows of the beads and the lightness of the lit paper. The way the beads are arranged (or fell?) on the page make for a much more interesting composition than if it had just been the page alone: good choice. The detail is great, and I like how crisp the tassel is. Good job capturing such depth with what could be considered a very geometrically flat subject.
