Description
I've been in such an art muse lately, it's so nice to finally be drawing actively again. In return I got a write block, but I'm trying to chew through it slowly~
This is an drawing for a "draw to claim" and I hope that with this, I can take this beauty home <3

With a loud rumbling a stranger pulled up the driveway of the stables. The parking lane was almost empty as it was incredibly early in the morning. Banks of fog still hung low on the meadows and the whole atmosphere was serene and peaceful. There was not much staff busy on the ranch, yet there were a few that poked their heads out of the stable building to see who had arrived so early this morning.
The big truck rumbled while it came to a still, and eventually went silent when the motor was put out. The girl that stepped out of the old, shaggy truck that pulled the trailer, was a complete stranger. To the staff, at least, Alan however new the girl for longer than just today. She smiled as Alan walked up to her to greet her, his hair messy as always, but a friendly expression brighting his face. ''Eya, I didn't know you were coming around this early,'' he said as he shook her head in greeting. ''It's nice that you're finally here.''
The girl was pretty tiny, especially next to Alan who could easily be called a giant in comparison. ''I thought I would have more hold up on the roads, but it was incredibly easy to get here -- that is, if you follow your directions properly,'' she pulled a sheepish smile as they walked up to the trailer. The girl's short, blonde hair was dancing behind her as she moved, her steps quick and steady. It was clear from her words that she, even with arriving this early, had made a few stops to look around and see if she actually had followed the right route. Alan laughed shortly, and followed up on her to the back of the trailer and open it up.
''I'm eager to see who you brought with you. The last time I saw you you had that pesky little pony -- Vos, was he called, if I remember right.'' Alan's brown eyes trailed from the girl to the pony that appeared as they pulled the tailgate down. There was a splash of white and .. black, it seemed, but quite to dappled for simply black. Another pony, as he had expected. ''Your stable is ready - an outside box you like requested.''
She had a good laugh at his words, still it somewhat stung her. It wasn't that long ago that Vos was deceased and she still missed her feisty friend, even when she got a new pony to fill the emptiness she felt after his loss. ''No, I've lost Vos about six months ago. This lady is here to fill the emptiness he left,'' she said as she dissapeared inside the trailer, untied the pony, and lead it out. She was chunkcy -- that she sure was, but she was nicely build too. And her color, oh her color was stunning. Alan stroke his chin as he watched her unload the pony, a smile playing on his lips.
''She sure is gorgeous!'' he said as he nodded. The mare watched him shortly with her amber eyes, her ears pinned forward and her head lifted high so she could watch around. Just as he finished his sentence, the mare led out a loud neigh, her nostrils flaring. ''Ay, and just as feisty I see.'' He couldn't help but laugh though -- it was just the sort of pony that fitted her, that was for sure.
The girl smiled and nodded. ''I wasn't that sure about my choice, but I think it was the right one. She's just perfect, and indeed she has a lot of fire to be tempered, sometimes,'' she grinned as she stroke the loud mare over her neck. ''Well, let's see where she can stretch her legs before we put her away with a big bunch of hay.''
