Description BW cloth study from ref, primarily twisted pipe folds with some half-locks snuck in on the arm area.

Reference photo was done by Marcus J. Ranum over at mjranum-stock , no idea if this will link properly, but here's hoping. The title of the source image is Light and Dark - 4.

Until next Saturday I'll be intensly trying to improve my knowledge of cloth, both from observation as from imagination. Depending on how detailed I want to render them, I may upload them as I go or not, depending on whether I'll do them just to learn or polish them up into something mroe presentable like this one.

Love it! Cloth is difficult but it looks great! Can't wait to see more

Thank you! We can agree on the difficult part, that's for sure.

haha definitely! I'm making shiny body suits for the first time for the piece im working on now, and even though that's difficult, cloth is so much more crazy because of aaaaaall the folds!

I think in terms of determining where to place points of tension for the folds it's not that much easier, but then again I've never painted bodysuits before (maybe I should try it somewhere down the line).
Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing your attempt!
