Hm, I finally feel like I did something worth while.These are characters from a short screenplay I am working on for class.
no, it's not a under-the-tree love story. for one thing, the girl IS the tree

This is so gorgeous. I really love the composition for this. I think its the lineless tree in the back that does it for me. Also, of course, the coloring of the clothing is beautiful :]

Oh God, too much to say for one comment! First, I reaaaaaaaaaaally like the style of painting. It gives a... calm effect? And the way you did the tree with the background is such an awesome design aspect. As always, your style of drawing just seems so natural, especially with the faces! I also like how everything is made warmer by the lines being brown. Did you know that Nomura does that too? Oh, and even though the skin and the boy's clothes seem nice and solid from the coloring style, the dress feels light and breezy AND I LOVE THAT. Good use of line color FTW.
