Looks like the nice landlady that brought Taro in is the same who owns Seuta's house. She let him stay in the upper floor with Seuta and Geratu, who were happy (specially Seuta) to welcome the nyaga in need. Taro told them how he got sick, and about the master he have been looking for relentlessly. When Taro was healed, Seuta offered to take him along in his job quests around town, letting him climb on his shoulders to get a better view.
That became an habit as Taro's sharp eyes not only look for master, but also catch good deals in the market. Seuta takes him around when hunting too, as he's really good at spotting prey.
When Taro is concentrated or in deep thought, he pouts.
