Human Name: Juan Federico de la Moreno.
Physical Age: Early twenties. (Approximately.)
Height: Around 5'7". (171.03 metres.)
Sex: Male.
Date of Independence: The 12th of June.
Capital: Manila.
Official Language(s): Filipino, English.
Continent & Subregion: Asia, South-East.
National Anthem: Lupang Hinirang. (Chosen Land)
Motto: Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Makakalikasan at Makabansa. (For God, People, Nature and Country)
National Flower: Sampaguita.
National Animals: Carabao, Philippine Eagle, Milkfish.
National Sport: Arnis. (Stick Fighting)

☀ Appearance.
Since he is South-East Asian, his skin colour is a tanned, light shade of brown. His hair colour is dark brown, and the only way to see the brown hue of it would be to expose his head directly under the gleaming sun. The small dot floating on the upper-right part of his head represents Batanes, a group of islands situated on top of Luzon. His eyes have the same colour as his hair, only a tad browner. The chibi on the upper-right corner of the picture is him in his farming apparel, which consists of a plain white t-shirt, dark red pants, slippers (sometimes), and a rice hat. A Philippine Eagle is nestled under the said hat and sits on top of his head. He keeps him as a pet and named him 'Raha', which roughly translates as 'king' or 'ruler' in English. Under that is him wearing a jacket designed after the Philippine flag; being patriotic and all. The outfit he sports in the middle would be the uniform of the PMA, or the Philippine Military Academy. The last one, the one on the bottom-left corner, is him humping riding a mango while wearing his traditional wear, the Barong Tagalog.

☀ Personality & Interests.
Philippines is a very optimistic person; he never fails to see the brighter side of situations, especially when it comes to his own ordeals. Because of this, he tends to smile. A lot. There is never a day he lived without smiling, (Except during the Battle of Leyte Gulf, perhaps.). He feels a bit inferior when it comes to meeting foreigners, so don't be surprised if he suddenly shuts up when someone whom he's not familiar with suddenly walks into the scene. Other than that, he is very talkative and likes sharing his stories; if you share yours, too. If ever you plan on paying him a visit, it'd be wise to come with an empty stomach. The chances of him shoving his cooking down your throat (Not literally, mind you.) is really, really, really high. And when he tells you that he'll be the one who'll wash the dishes—just let him be. There's no use arguing with him when it comes to these. He loves mangoes, a fruit that is very popular in the islands. He eats them whether they're yellow or green; but prefers the yellow over the latter one. He also likes farming, especially when he gets to work with a Tamaraw. Fishing too, but not as much as the first one.

☀ Brief History.
The Negritos were the first people to settle in the islands, followed by the Indones people, and then the Malay. The people constructed the 'balangay' or 'balanghai' and used these water vessels to trade with other kingdoms, namely the ones up north (East Asia) and the Indianized ones. He adopted cultures from Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam.

Spain set foot on the islands in the year 1521. He colonised him after a few years, and the Spanish reign on the islands didn't last until after more than three centuries. He thrived and depended greatly on the trade between him and Mexico (the Manila-Acapulco Galleon Trade), but it was called off when the Mexico gained independence from Spain. He was later sold to America right after he declared his own independence from the kingdom, but found himself under the US's care. He didn't like him at first, but he eventually warmed up to the man and idolized him, until now. He gained his independence after the Second World War, as it was promised to him by America.

☀ Miscellaneous.
-Mamon and Puto are absolutely delicious.
-Points with his lips.
-He prefers to be called 'Federico', not 'Juan'. Thinks it's too generic.
-Never on time. Ever.
-'Opens' and 'closes' the lights.
-Going to mass during Sundays is a must.
-Tends to cry when watching soap operas. (Especially if it's Korean.)
-Probably one of the few (if there's any, at all) who thinks America is indeed, the 'hero'.
-Doesn't avoid pedestrians.
-Yellow light = Go faster.
-Eats with his hands.
