Finally a more detailed digital painting again – of my siderian (a Northern horse sized big cat) fellow known as Morthian (‘official’ name is Andor):

I had seen this scene last year, late February 2020 when I got to see his passing on this music piece: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oodHHR… (Transformations from the Beauty & Beast 1991).
Ever since I saw that scene, this image had been stuck in my head although this image had become a more symbolic representation of his soul. He reaches for the light, the sky and freedom, yet he feels grounded and connected to Life on Earth.

I also found the 2017 version of this track, which I don’t associate with his death but more with how I would translate his soul and being into music. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOwZI9… Morthian has always been a gentle and quiet fellow and he struggled with being so different from the rest of his family, particularly his fierce sisters and hard father. Yet his parents have always supported him in finding his own way and I think this drawing represents how his soul finally got shine in a different way than many others of his rather dark family.

I still find the lyrics very inspiring and they mean a lot to me personally (and they fit Morthian quite well too)
