this is a tattoo design for someone. they wanted a traditional buddha under a heart that was pouring blood around the figure but not touching buddha. ok, here you go... it's not really my thing, i like buddha, but the bloody heart and stuff, i could have done without. but i'm not the one getting it tattooed. the dias is blank to allow for writing, so it the heart. i may submit the colored version later.Related content

It'll look nice with color especially the blood... I totally agree that it'd look better without the blood. I think it'll look a bit gory for something that suppose to be "zen". But for a tattoo it's alright to be a lil' bit different than everybody else's.

Yeah, it looks fine as a tattoo, especially since it's so large it's hard to tell that the Buddha is surrounded by blood, it looks more like a drape or something. it wraps around his arm.

studying it? nooo.... i just got asked to do this piece. it goes into ink on the fellows upper arm in a few weeks. black lines first, then color. i have a lot of tattoos, myself, but they are all tribal.
