I think I spelled it right...Anyway this is commemorating the first airing of the last episode of Futurama "The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings" last August (12th I believe?) Someone set me straight if I'm wrong.
Futurama is the creation of Matt Greoning's Curiosity Company.

I guess the best thing one can take from the situation (that being Futurama being cancelled WAY too early) is that basically all the episodes are good. It didn't go so long that it became boring and stale. Almost every episode has some sort of saving grace to me (and some are just perfect), so that makes a good show, in my opinion.
Tho they definitely could've taken the show to SO many more places and possibilities~ *sigh*

I thought he was one of the main reasons why the show stopped; he lost interest in it (or it wasn't doing as well, ratings-wise, as he planned).
My brother mentioned seeing somewhere online an article that Futurama might be getting a second chance on fox again. He found this fairly recently too, so maybe stay hopeful!!

How can I not but at least rock when my subject is the magnificient trio from Futurama? They in themselves define the art-going way of "rock" I merely perpetuate it.

I once had my hair done like Fry's (And yes, it's red too) Obviously I wasn't as adorable as him, but at least I've not slept with any of my own relatives. But that's got nothing to do with this drawing.
Cool as usual Jesse, I just know if I attempted something with that much pencil work it'd end up in a horrible grey blob (spot the bad pun) And why do I get the feeling that Fry's tux is powder/baby blue?

Holy shathead, your shading is wonderful! fry and Leela look awesome! But Bender looks... incomplete.
Anywho, I love how you made the characters look so realistic! They look like real people, except for the fact that Leela has one centered eye.

Yea... that freaks people out alright. I have another one in the works that's just Fry and Leela. And the reason I didn't finish Bender is... well... I hate Bender?
Its hard to make him clever and realistic anyway... since he'd probably look a lot like he does on the show. Other artists do variations of Bender and they never quite look right... so I just use the show style outline... and it looks weird with realistic shading...

Aw reviews like this make me want to draw them more! To me its just a matter of setting aside some time for "them" There are certain episodes I can't watch without wanting to draw the characters. DHIP being one of them.

I'm also pissed off at FOX for caceling futurama in the first place. It's bull! I love watching eppys over and over again I just wish there were more. I'm an obsessed fan can ya tell XD I just wish I could draw as good as you.
