I like the team dynamics that you've set up, and it's awesome to see Wallace as part of the OG Titans. I'm also glad Garth is the peacemaker, since that role is usually assigned by default to the (usually sole) woman in most works of fiction.
Did you intentionally design their costumes to look more cohesive as a team?

Would there be a given in-universe reason why the other teen heroes you've introduced, Supergirl and Aquagirl, didn't join?

I like that you went with the original line-up and not the cartoon line-up that most people default to nowadays. It fits the concept that these are sidekicks who're moving out on their own.
I have fond memories of the cartoon like a lot of other people, but I'm willing to admit that the roster's kind of overplayed as of late. But still, do you have plans to work them into the story in the future? Because there's still a lot of material to work with there.

Yeah, glad to see the grouping making a comeback, or at least that they're trying to.
That works out pretty well. The original team would have experience under their belts, they'd have a consistent rogues gallery built up, and they'd still be actual teens!
What about Young Justice? Would you still have them be a separate thing or would you mix them in with the Titans somehow?

Yeah, the cyclical nature of comics is a double-edged sword, but that's another conversation for another day.
I like the idea that Young Justice is like a transition group between the Titans & League. Young heroes start out in Titans to gain basic experience, enter Young Justice when it's time to dip their toes into the 'big leagues' before graduating into a bona fide Justice League member.
I know that's probably not how it goes in the comics, but it's an idea I think is cool.

I just don't want to get into a long conversation if the both of us are busy. It bugs me when I know I can't reply to a comment for a day or two & it feels like I'm leaving them waiting.
Is it? It's been a while since I've seen any Young Justice media so my memory must be foggy. Maybe I remembered them as being older because I was older when I first read their stories. XD
Maybe it's just a terminology thing, 'Young' is a less restricting term than 'Teen'. 'Young' could literally mean anything from a kid to an adult whereas 'Teen' always conjures up memories of high school or early college.

Fair enough. I know this is just another example of me inflating a problem in my mind, but it does legitimately bug me when I start a conversation and notice that I've left someone waiting for more than a day.
THAT'S what it is. The cartoon was the first exposure to Young Justice that I had and it's what stuck in my head the clearest all these years. To be fair, I remember the controversies regarding it's cancellation and the anger I felt over it more than I do some of the storylines, but a lot of the basic ideas overwrote some of the subsequent stories I read since it's what I was exposed to first. Like I said, it's been years since I'd watched/read any Young Justice media and my life changed a lot inbetween then and now; plenty of room to get things mixed up.

Yeah, nostalgia is a tricky thing that way. The early 2010s were by no means a perfect, or even easy, time in my life, but with as rough as the past five years have been, or at least felt, they seem like a golden age.
And yeah, adaptation override is a real problem when it comes to comics. Granted some changes are always necessary when adapting a story between mediums, but the a lot of the shows that introduced me to certain characters/stories are VERY different from the source material. Now how good the adaptations are when viewed as stand alone works is a different story, but I will agree it's unfair when said adaptations color how you view the works that inspired it.

Yeah, I'd definitely agree with you on that. In the years leading up to 2013 I was starting to develop an interest in animation/writing as a career, I was getting introduced to new media (such as comics) and was on much more stable ground mentally. But then 2014/15 came around an in quick succession, my grandparents' health took such a nosedive they had to be moved into a nursing home, my mother developed ovarian cancer (she's better now), my grandfather passed away, the extended family started moving away so we hardly got to see them anymore and we moved into a different house. Combine this with our unstable financial situation and the unfolding disaster that began in 2016 and I just kind of....sank into a shell? I stopped trying new things so I started getting bitter when 'my' shows ended or were changed, I didn't talk to my friends and didn't pursue my interests as much, I just became this reclusive, bitter guy.
I had a breakdown near the end of 2018 and I've been trying to turn things around since. I've been connecting with friends and making new ones, I've been pursuing my interests in earnest, and I've just tried to get back to where I was in 'the good old days'. It's hard because a LOT of things have changed since then, but I feel like I'm getting closer.
Yeah some really strange choices can be made when comics are adapted to another medium. Like, take the Teen Titans cartoon for instance, they changed Deathstroke from a master mercenary to a schemer in the shadows because the executives though his original characterization was 'too much' for a kids channel. At that point they really could have used any other TT villain but still decided to stick with Deathstroke (or Slade as they called him in the show) because he was one of the more recognizable villains. It's like the basic image or name of a character is given more reverence than the character themselves at times.

Yeah, everyone's in a rough state nowadays.
But as I said, things are slowly improving for me. I know I can't go back to where I was years ago, but I can get back on the stable footing I had to move forwards at least. I just hope other people can start to do the same.
And let's not get any further into this subject, it's A LOT to unpack and I'd rather get into it here. No offence, it's just not something I'd like to discuss where just anyone can see it.
Yeah, the Teen Titans cartoon has aged a lot worse than most fans would like to admit. There were still some great episodes, but I will agree that compared to a lot of shows that have come out since (or were even airing concurrently) Teen Titans doesn't stand as proud as it did. It's kinda funny how everyone yells at Teen Titans Go for being juvenile when the original could be just as bad but not have the excuse of being a comedy.

Ah yes. Adaptation entitlement is a real annoying problem in today's pop culture.
Like, it's fine if you don't like some changes/directions a new adaptation takes a series but don't cry that it should be more like 'your' version. I'd bet half the people who scream about how bad TTG is or complain about the casting in Titans haven't actually watched the original in years and have completely forgotten it's flaws (or just ignore them).

Yeah. The animation community is filled with people like that, unfortunately.

Is this continuity related at all to your Wonder Woman the Animated Series you posted about a while back or is it a new separate thing?
