Back in December of 2014, I asked you all to pick your top ten favourite women from the DC Universe. Of the thirty choices in the poll, the ones who received the most votes and highest rankings were Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Black Canary, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Zatanna, Supergirl, Power Girl, Starfire and Huntress. Using this line-up, I wrote a blog entry detailing these characters and set about redesigning all ten.

During the posting process for each, you all showed your support and many of you wrote some amazing feedback. Interestingly, your favourites contrasted the order in which the characters had been voted. While Wonder Woman stayed on top with the most favourites, the others who outperformed the rest were Black Canary, Catwoman, Power Girl and Starfire. The level of support I received was really motivating and it ultimately inspired me to set about redesigning the DC Universe as it stands within my head canon. Often times, I don't think you all realize how much your words of support and how much writing more than a one word comment means to an artist like myself.

As such, I hope those of you who enjoy this piece will head on over to my gallery and check out the series of redesigns I've been doing for the characters from the DC Universe.
