I don't even remember since when I wanted to do a re-make of an old series I did back in 2007, in which I drew all the tailed beasts as cubs using a...pretty raw technique of markers and watercolor, without mentioning the only creatures that were revealed back then where the first three and the nine tailed fox, so I kinda...improvised, inventing most of the bijuu's designs based on japanese miths. But when the real characters came out, the creatures turned out to be veeery diferent at the end, so I knew I had to do a re-make someday. I wouldn't really say this is it...but it's kind of an spiritual re-make, since I decided to use watercolor and chibis because of it.
I also got inspired by cryptosilver 's eeveelutions and wanted to try something similar, painting a mini-background for each character. I love the way she works with watercolor...I hope to have that control with mine someday because really, this was a challenge for my pulse XD But I'm still very happy with the results. I'll keep using traditional media because there's something really special about it <3

You may just need practice, I have years of working with watercolor and it's still a major challenge for my pulse XD
But it's a very fun media once you get how it works, a bit unpredictable but I think that's also part of the fun.

You know, I also had my doubts before drawing them since some of them are indeed, a bit out of my comfort zone XD But at the end they weren't so hard to interpret, it was even fun really, testing how far my drawing style can go
