This is why you shouldn't let me play Pokémon when I go back to the Narutardness.
I just wanted to do a few, but at the end they were so fun to do I decided to make all of these. Just a silly project to entertain myself.
Anyway, here goes the list!
Naruto: Vulpix - Ninetales
For his animal motif
Sasuke: Luxio - Luxray
They look alike, have electric powers and Luxray has a special ocular ability, like Sasuke
Sakura: Skitty - Delcatty
They look alike a bit, the pokemon seem to repesent cherry trees too
Kiba: Poochyena - Mightyena
For his animal motif, and they look alike
Hinata: Eevee - Espeon
I think they fit well, and the Hyuuga's abilities seem pretty psychic to me
Shino: Venipede – Scolipede
For his animal motif, and I remember Shino had a bad time with poison once...I thought it related fairly well
Shikamaru: Deerling - Sawsbuck
For his animal motif. I have an idea about this Shikamaru hating spring because his appearance is too femenine for his taste xP
Ino: Spoink - Grumpig
For her animal motif and because they both use psychic powers
Chouji: Wurmple - Beautifly
For his animal motif
Lee: Hitmontop
Hitmonlee would be the most correct choice of course, but...I just don't like Hitmonlee 
Neji: Natu - Xatu
Because of the caged bird thing, and as with Hinata, Hyuuga's abilities seem pretty psychic to me
Tenten: Mienfoo - Mienshao
They fit well and both seem to be inspired from Chinese aspects
Gaara: Zigzagoon - Linoone
For his animal motif. He's different from his brothers for being born as a jinchuuriki
Kankuro: Krokorok – Krookodile
I think they fit very well. They're both dark and live in the desert
Temari: Furret
I wanted her to be a bird at first, but it would make even less sense with respect to her brothers. At least Temari can be related with weasels because of her invocation
Kakashi: Lucario
They look alike a bit. And Kakashi is related to canines
Sai: Smeargle
For being a painter who can also use it's paint as a weapon
Jiraya: Toxicroak
For his animal motif and not being cute as Politoed xP
Tsunade: Miltank
They look alike and they both have the ability to heal
Orochimaru: Seviper
For his animal motif

When I first saw this, I managed to get all except for Lee's. Took me a while to figure out he is Hitmontop.

quick question: what is an animal motif? and how do you figure them out? i mean most of them make perfect sense to me, but how is shika a deer?

An animal motif is like a symbol to depict a character, either it's related to the animal in some way or in Shikamaru's case, the meaning of their name.
Shika means deer in japanese, Cho (Chouji) means butterfly and Ino means boar

OH! i didn't know that! hehe, cool. the butterfly-chouji thing only made sense to me because of an episode where him, kiba, naruto, shika, and neji all went to go find sasuke, and he took something (some type of colorful pellets) and he ended up haveing wings for a minute, before the battle ended and he collapsed. i thought everyone died and i freaked out.

Umm.. For Hinata, her smaller self is a shiny Eevee, so shouldn't Espeon be green? ono

Yes, green Espeon would be the correct option. But the reason why I didn't use it it's because the color does not work with Hinata's original colours. White eevee looks better on her than brown eevee on the first, but lilac Espeon looks better on the second.

Yeah I understand, softer/lighter colors to match her colors, as well as her personality. Well, she does grow a bit less shy later on in the sequel, but purple suits her better than green. ouo
