I think it was this anime that made me look toward more then just action related anime. And it was stuff like this that made me up my expectations of shows that are of the fictional variety. After I watch something I SHOULD be attached in some sort of way I feel. If I feel bad when something happens to a character that speaks volumes for the writing, it made me care about something that does not exist.
Air is one of the two anime that royally crushed me emotionally to the point where I was thinking about the anime 2 - 3 days following the finish of the series. Air and H20 foot prints in the sand.
