Male, 54" longDry tanned, open skinned wallhanger
Nice leather scent. There is a printed company name on the leather side, "Walter Inc. Montreal 1997". One of his eye holes is enlarged. His nose is in such great shape, not scrunched like most pelt noses are- it's in perfect form, just smaller than when it was alive. Very, very nice long fur on this large male. He's coyote size, and beautifully colored. I never truly appreciated a fire and ice until I saw him in person. This is a MUST for any fox pelt collection.

The stripes at the tail - is it by nature? What special kind of fox is it named. I have never seen somthing like dat.

The stripes are not natural, the former owner twisted the tail to make them have that pattern.

actually that tail IS twisted. You can see how the darker dorsal line on the base of the tail curves underneath the tail as it goes down, and how the fur lays in that area as it start to twist underneath. Foxes don't get ring markings on their tails.
Is there any way to take a picture of the leather on the bottom side of the tail, with the fur parted, flat and laid out? Because I'm 100% convinced it's just twisted, as most garment tanned fox pelts are.

Yeah, anytime you see those rings, it means it's twisted xD as long as the customer knows! Dont want to get in trouble for false advertising D:

Not sure if you're interested in mountable red foxes, but I'll be popping those out at about $150 each in a couple weeks. The more people buy, the more I'll provide. And, the closer I'll be to getting my fursuit!

not in for mountables, i go for wall hangers here, since i will never mount then i dont want to waste such a great fox. i already have a bastard red, and a gray. other then that i am looking for any other colors
