Did you use leather to make the panels stitched together? Somehow I believe you should have used my links to fill that open spot across the top of the shoulder. An overhead blow would be aimed to the tops of the shoulders. My son is trying to create a chain mail hauberk before he leaves for the Coast Guard this fall. And I want to make some armor pieces using leather strapping and a gazillion wooden paint stirring paddles.

fantastic! also, THANK YOU for not doing something so ridiculous as "Boob-Plate" armor! This also strikes me as something I might see in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender.. Just looks amazing, especially if it's functional.
