Great character, however, I've seen that background on an iron man comic, which I happen to have on hand. Was it your intention to copy the style or is the character composited over the iron man in said cover. No offense intended really, just wondering

Woah, I like this one a lot. The coloring is nice, and I really like the glow effects on his limbs. Yes, he does slightly resemble Iron Man, but this Sunblayde character here has a more sleek and enigmatic feel to him, especially with the lack of a clearly defined face, which I like.
Also, the pose is really dynamic and gives it a feel of power. Overall, I like it a lot. Nice work!
