Name: Butterflypaw (Butterflystep when she becomes a warrior. making her an apprentice b/c her age is directly based on my age irl, and since i'm still in high school, i figure i'll make her a warrior when i graduate. if i'm even still into warriors by that point.)
Gender: She-cat
Age: 14 moons (1.2 cat years, 16.5 human years)
Breed: Scottish Fold Mix
Appearance: Butterflypaw is a small, fluffy light brown cat with folded-down ears and patches of darker brown tabby fur on her right ear, half of her left ear, around her right eye, the back of her neck, her left shoulder, her front paws, just above the base of her tail, her left hind haunch, her right hind fetlock, and all of her tail. Her eyes are a bright green, and her underbelly, face, chest, tip of her left ear, and front toes are a very light brown, almost white in color. She has a small, dark brown dot on her pink nose, and various dark brown spots on her paw pads, which are the same pink as her nose. She has long, white whiskers and white claws.
Clan: WindClan
Mentor: Ashfoot ("oh god she's such a mary-sue she interacts with canon characters" shut up.)
Backstory: Born into WindClan a couple of years after Dovekit and Ivykit to 2 loving parents (Deepsoul [father] & Kindheart [mother], also both WindClan-born), Butterflykit grew up an only kit in the new territory under the watchful eyes of her clan. She was named for a butterfly that flew into the nursery and landed on her nose a few days after her birth. The young kit showed promise from an early age, playing with balls of moss in the nursery and often straying outside to chase butterflies and other small insects. Her mother was, and still is, overprotective, and she tends to spend more time with and connect more with her father because of this. Currently, she resides in WindClan, training under Ashfoot's guidance. She wants to become a warrior, but is nervous and afraid of growing up.
Personality: Butterflypaw was very shy and quiet as a kit, and for the longest time as an apprentice. She flat-out wouldn't speak to anyone who wasn't her parents or a friend of hers (of which she used to have very few). But after growing a little older, she's managed to come out of her shell quite a bit, being able to open up easily with her mentor, Ashfoot, and even her leader, Onestar, when she gets the chance to speak with him. She holds Onestar in very high regard, paying him much more obvious amounts of respect and admiration than other apprentices. She gets called a kiss-up for this sometimes, but it never gets to her. Butterflypaw is still quiet and awkward around strangers, though, and is a bit socially deprived. Though, she is a very hard worker who gets high marks from her mentor, and she shows immense promise when it comes to being a warrior (she sometimes has problems with fighting, though). Unlike other she-cats, she tends to dislike kits. She considers them an annoying, yet necessary, part of clan life, and will help care for them if she's needed, but would always rather stay as far away from them, their mothers, and the nursery as possible.
Skills: With fighting, Butterflypaw is strong and quick. She can be a hard hitter, but gets extremely nervous during fights, which throws her off guard sometimes. Overall, she is a much better hunter due to her quiet nature. It's not hard for her to sneak up on prey and kill it quickly, though rabbits are a little harder since they're so quick. She isn't perfect and doesn't always get her catch, but she does have the highest success rate of the WindClan apprentices. As far as WindClan cats go, she isn't the fastest runner, but she's very smart.
