Ok... this is the first picture that I did like this that started the whole comic idea... so I'm posting it and making this a sort of information page. So.. here's some info.***All of the art/figures/backgrounds used are from SE's FFXI online game. I used ffxi model viewer, altana viewer, ffxi screen shots, adobe photoshop/illustrator, and my own warped brain and artistic abilites to create these comics... (borrowing a few inspirational ideas here and there)
next are the Characters (some may have not appeared yet, some may not appear ever...) (jobs mentioned are their main job)

I don't think I've even heard of Destructoid before. They probably just think it's a screenshot or something, and even if they didn't ... I'm not too concerned about it, but I really appreciate you mentioning it... gave me a chuckle

I've been fine. >w< Gonna probably play FFXIV here soon again. Been playing Blade and Soul a lot lately.

I dunno if model viewer is working it won't show me the char or dats it says files cannot be found do you think it has to do with the creator site not available anymore or should I even worry D: my Altana viewer tho works. Is it any different?

Hmmm.... check the directory that MV is linked to...
go to file original DAT path and make sure that is linked to the folder that your xi dats are in
for ex. mine is located here C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ROM3\
also there are several ROM sections... and there are different npcs in those different sections. (I can never remember what is where, but if you can't see an npc try changing the # on the rom part to another folder and try looking at the next npc) If your problem is with the npcs then that's probably the problem.

yeah.. I noticed that after I messed with it my fiancee has 2 hardrives, 1 C, 1 D. I for some reason accidentaly put it in C lol wich he doesn't like XD cus its his computer. I have to be careful tho with extracting programs tho. His Pc suddenly turned off, turned on by utself yesterday 1 or 2 hours after I downloaded it. Not too long ago we had a really bad virus, that kept doing that, so he had to repair some files. Anywayz, I think I'm having way to much fun with altana viewer.

Yeah, altana viewer is pretty fun... You get to see the spells and stuff (important to note though... >_> It it very difficult to transfer those transparent spell things to other images...)
I still like Model Viewer better though... mostly because it allows you to pause and step through the motions (ie I can easily get the frame that I want vs trying to catch the animation, trail and error)

Very very very lovely. Seriously is so cute, not only how you put the caracters, that background too! Maybe the shadows looks a bit strange, but I like it a lot!
