this design is for sabytthe 's clownpone event!!! i've wanted to do one so bad but I haven't had the time until now 😭 i made her a heart face mime!!

Mesmie is a street-corner mime that performs out of Canterlot, though she does travel for shows on occasion. She's both deaf and mute, and uses sign language to communicate when she isn't performing, though she's also rather good at reading lips. The empty heart on her flank represents the need for imagination to fill her shows, but it can also apply to her personal life- Mesmie is a solo act, having broken from a troupe of pantomime actors over creative differences. When she really reflects on her past, she regrets not compromising with them, but instead of reaching out to apologize she just ignores the feeling and prefers to live in the present, drinking her evenings away in the company of merry strangers. Mesmie is only a stage name, but no one has ever bothered to ask if she has a real one, so it's the name she goes by regardless of whether she's performing.
