Oh wow. I really Like this! I feel that it is really original and altogether really thought out.
Your mane and tail are really stringy and have a few holes here and there on them. There are a lot of great tutorials out there to help. But one thing you could do now is use a smaller brush? Maybe also a fuzzy brush and smudge it just a tad. Although your colors on there are PERFECT.
I would have liked to see a bit more splashes on the hind feet. (More spread out) but your front drips are amazing.

Wow! I love the feeling of motion here - you really caught that 'life flash' feeling in the selection of stock used. My only other critique is the mane and tail, and the water dripping from the hoof (the water droplets should probably be flying instead of dripping.)
