Description I wonder, while the patients of abandoned asylums shuffled up and down these stairs, if they found the fallout signs stressful when these places were in operation.  Maybe it was a comfort to know if they got nuked that they would have somewhere to go, even though most of them would never have provided enough protection or supplies to help in such an emergency.  Our signs, our beliefs, often can't be trusted.  © 2014-Current.

I cannot imagine this area being "nicer" when it was new.  What a way to treat people with mental health diagnoses.
