Nah... SNK is a series I've never been overly familiar with tbh. I know what it is, but I've never followed it. That being said, the rules of the crossover pull in ANYONE that have ever crossed with any of the listed core titles. Hence SNK vs Capcom means that SNK is included thanks to its ties to Capcom.

Rivalries will be like OMG.
The toughest competitors will probably be
Superman 10/10 (DC)
Thor 10/10 (MARVEL)
Akuma 7/10 (Street Fighter)
Onaga 10/10 (Mortal Kombat)
Gargos 9/10 (Killer Instinct)
someone from SEGA.
Goku 10/10 (Shonen Jump)

She was not made by sega, Sega just Published the game. Platnium Games actually made the game.

"Bayonetta is a third-person action game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Sega"
Google it, this is exactly what it says.
Platinum Games Β _Deveolped_ it meaning they Made the game. If you actually Look at the Super Smash Bros. 4 Trailer for her. it States that PlatinumΒ Games is her Creator because they gave credit to them. so Clearly Sega did not Create her. Yeah sure Sega Helped Make the first Game, but it does not mean that they Made the Game

Fiercedeity1770 In reply to Ownerest [2014-07-06 02:43:04 +0000 UTC]
Yes it is. Although, as it says in the artist comment and in several other comments on here... I listed them separately on purpose in order to emphasize the fighting game aspect of the idea. ^^
The same goes for the visuals. In actuality the idea is more of a free-for-all amongst the franchises and series listed here, but the picture is set up to visually emphasize the concept of a VS fighting game.

Why not?
They own DC
like how capcom owns Street fighter.
Maybe even Disney
π: 0 β©: 1
Fiercedeity1770 In reply to Ownerest [2014-07-28 15:54:29 +0000 UTC]
That makes sense, but they don't fit as a fighting game company, though they would obviously be included thanks to that tie to DC, but DC would be more recognizable for a fighting crossover.
Capcom does own Street Fighter, but I've listed them seperate to help emphasize the fighter aspect of the idea. Street Fighter being one of the most famed fighter game franchises, and Capcom being famous for fighting game crossovers.
Same goes for Disney, thanks to Marvel it would have inclusions as well with the idea, but let's be honest, if I just listed Disney instead of Marvel it would have seemed at least a little weird. Also, thanks to Marvel's connection to Disney, all of Disney's other connections to companies and franchises would be included as well, for instance Lucasfilms (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, etc.)

Star Wars actually makes the cut because it has ties to the Soul Caliber franchise (This image and idea are from BEFORE Disney acquired LucasFilms)

Once again, Disney is already included thanks to the ties to Marvel and Lucasfilm. So anyone tied to Disney would be included as well.
Potentially this could even include more unexpected ties such as Warner Bros Thanks to "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" and it could even be stretched to reality based things such as the NFL and other sport organizations thanks to Disney's connection to ESPN. (If something is included in this, not only is its own content, character, etc. included, but also anything belonging to any other companies and/or franchises connected to them and theirs as well and so on.)

Nice team idea!
I didn't forget them, those are simply franchises that I have little to no experience playing. Although, most of them have ties to the ones I've already listed, so they would be included already (just not listed at the same level as the rest.)
Ryu Hayabusa for instance, technically is not directly from the Dead or Alive series, but the Ninja Gaiden franchise, although the crossover character has appeared in pretty much all main DOA games, it's natural forget that, but that said, he has ties to Dynasty Warriors ("Strikeforce" game) and he also appears along with DOA native Ayane in "Warriors Orochi 3" and a few other titles with her and Rachel, and as I recall he also has a tie to the Halo series with an armor set inspired by and named after him.
King of Fighters is with SNK which has a crossover "SNK vs Capcom", so it would be included thanks to Capcom. World Heroes was developed by SNK, so it would be tied to SNK as well. (SNK also has Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, and others such as Metal Slug - not a fighting series, but you get the idea.)
Guilty Gear on the other hand is a little tricky, it has ties to BlazBlue, but it stands apart from Capcom and SNK. It DOES have one tie to Sega, because Sega was/is it's publisher, and so Guilty Gear and by extension BlazBlue, would be included thanks to Sega.

I think that the number of characters for each franchise will 19 just like other crossovers (And adding 25 for the DLC characters)
π: 0 β©: 1
Fiercedeity1770 In reply to Sonicbran23 [2013-08-11 23:48:24 +0000 UTC]
^^ Now that's interesting. (I never noticed a 19 per franchise crossover pattern before).
Though, in this case, it would be meaningless since ALL the characters from ALL the games of listed franchises, series, companies, etc. Which would definitely surpass 19 each easily.
DLC however would drastically expand the line-up even further, but I can't really go into that yet. (No Spoilers)
