kaciequeen I had to return a birthday gift! Although it's not as detailed and creative as yours was I hope it still brings a smile to your face.
You've been putting me in so many lovely moods lately and helped me move from my art block and I want to let you know how appreciative I am of that, and that I can consider you a friend. 
First time drawing a steven Universe character. I hope I gave Garnet justice. I never watched the show so I wasn't completely sure how to convert her design into my style. (I don't know how "human" she's supposed to look)

As a tourist who visited NYC for 4 days, I can attest to Mona's truth. Did you know that you run the risk of finding dog poop that was placed by a dog owner on the front window of your car? Because I sure didn't. I even have a picture for proof. You can also see the Hulk hanging out with a giant Minion. The subway is god awful, for I stepped on an old lady's foot, and I swear to you, she was made of STONE. No reaction whatsoever. People on the subway are COLD.

all ill say is I hope you are ready to hold your breath because you've opened the floodgates. seriously though, it is an amazing effort and hope to see more Steven Universe from you, though all your works is great regardless of subject.

Thank you! Actually I don't think I'd like SU. I couldn't get past the first episode when the show aired though most people tell me it gets better later on. But all I've seen is too emotional for my taste and shoves the character's inner conflicts in your face and over-explains them. I love emotional scenes in shows because they're rare and quiet... But that's just what I got from seeing some clips. I might be wrong and I might try to watch it again some day.

Oh you're definitely right about the emotion, I'll give you that. XD And yes, season 1 is not my personal favorite just because of what you said; it's slow and doesn't get much into the mystery and lore of the universe, but by season 2 there's mystery and clues to be solved kinda like Gravity Falls and the emotion and acting kinda reminds me of TMNT in the sense that these feel like REAL people with REAL emotions.
And I'm not just saying it, but I started off like you, saying I'd never get into Steven Universe, but I watched a very popular episode "Rose's Scabbed" and fell IN LOVE! It's very poetic and beautiful! Then again, not everyone can like SU and that's okay! I'm at least happy you gave it a try and just found it wasn't your cup of tea.

Honestly you drew Garnet perfectly!! Most gems are typically very humanlike! Fusions tend to get less humanoid but Garnet is the exception hehe

AHHHHH!!!! I'm so happy you like it! I wasn't entirely sure if you'll find the idea fun and I didn't want to just draw you TMNT because I see you've been focusing on SU lately more... and my tablet is giving me trouble and I couldn't produce anything super amazing like your picture was but I'm so happy that you find it cool and that you like how I drew Garnet. And now I'm just going on too, but I'm really happy you like it.
