The fluer de lis is also the symbol for most Scouting organisations, (that's Robert Baden Powell scouting not that guy from TF2 with the baseball bat) which whaty I thought when I first saw it. Seems to be used for a lot of things over time.
Cool artwork, I think the glasses work sort of Parisian chic style which features the general French theme.
