Description
Although Hayon's empire relies little on light units, preferring heavy armed forces, when Hayon clashed with the League of Free Cities of Rhovania, it was evident that a type of light gunner was needed to stem the stylicide inflicted by the League's free corps.
The imperial army, however, did not feel like creating units completely unconnected to the normal chain of command and therefore created regiments of light marksmen, which nevertheless operated under the command of the legions.
