Description
Dieter Von Galish is the scion of a small but very noble baronial family, the Von Galish, who can claim descent from the ancient emperors of the first Taured empire. Indeed one of the most prominent clans inside the Adlinger class.
The lack of descent of the ruling house of the Grand Duchy of Reiten, the Egger, left the Von Galish in a position to inherit the throne.
Although many rumours prophesy doom and foretell civil war, Dieter is certain that his potential opponent Count Vitol will not have the courage to take the field.

Dieter is a determined but methodical man, who studies a plan to the point of perfection, perhaps sometimes overdoing the planning.
He is also very conscious of his family's role as a member of the military nobility of Reiten, of which the barons are the backbone. Reiten is, in his eyes, now ready to play a more important and decisive role in the Free States, rather than just the watchdog of Haermark.

His plans include a radical military reformation, also involving the infantry, and a tax reform to recruit larger armies, perhaps with a view to a confrontation with the Archduchy.
