Welp, finally got it finished. Took a little bit longer then I was hoping it would take, but man was it well worth the time invested. I was requested to make a Sunset Shimmer's variant of the original Memoriesfimstargazer.deviantart.com/arβ¦
by , from which I enjoyed the idea and gladly accepted. This time I went a bit further and added some context, Celestia's train of thought over what's going on in each of the photo's. I'm actually hoping to down the line, add a page or two more because I definitely feel it would benefit to have more content.
Experimented a lot with this one too, wanting to make the over all appearance come out as well as I could, and I think it paid off in the end because I feel it came out incredible. So I hope any and everyone who ventures onto this page feels the same.
I'll have a clean variant up soon, which removes all the text in the off chance people prefer it to be that way as well! Since this was a request, I'm also going to include it in the #AskedToDraw section as well.

For the longest time I felt that Celestia was just off limits of having an episode and that Sunset was only suppose to appear in Equestria Girls movies and that's it. But we can always hope that this changes in the future.
I believe they gave some hints that this might change in the future, but we'll see.

I already know how I want them to go, I just gotta figure out the best way to put them together in a sense. Both for appearance and to showcase it the way I want it to play out. Then I gotta hope it doesn't take me forever to actually draw and vector out as well lol.

It sprung to mind, so I said why not. Although Philomena might have been with Celestia for a lot longer technically. I forget if they mention how long it takes a Phoenix to get to their rebirth cycle.

Ooh I like i! (In a heart wrenching way)
The last two frames really hit home hard. We always see Celestia a mentor to Twilight, but not much more than that. I would love to see the old tried and true story if Sunset was an orphane she brought in under her wing and tutelage. That makes Sunset's betrayal that much more meaningful to the characters as a whole.
