Description
My latest obession: Alien. I was so terribly traumatized by this movie when I first saw it, and now I'm a fan.Or maybe I'm just still processing the trauma here, haha.
Sigourney Weaver as Ripley.
A4 format. Materials I used:
- H, B and 4B pencils
- 2B mechanical pencil
- Kneaded and normal eraser
- A ruler
- A tissue
Took me around 8 hours in total.

Probably my favourite drawing of yours (hard to choose I know). I'm not even a big Alien fan, but something about the pose and and how you've captured Signourney Weaver's expression - just great.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy the first two alien films, but I do remember seeing glimpses of the first one as a kid and having nightmares, which put me off for a while! I still can't play Alien Isolation however because of how terrifying it looks!

Oh yeah me too! The facehugger part made me feel sick to my stomach I like watching the second film more, less creepy than the first one

It was same for me with Jaws - horror by Spilberg. When I was a kid I saw it once and I couldn't sleep without light on for ... three years?

Oh yeah, the first Alien film is deeply burnt in my system too, with its creepy mood and the truly shocking chest bursting scene in particular... so I'm probably still processing my trauma as well by looking at Alien related artwork!
Great portrait of Ripley here! She's one of the most beautiful and toughest women in film history.
