Fanart for Ellen Ripley from the Alien Series!Not only am I a die hardfan of the series but Ripley is a badass.
Enough said.
I mean, deep concepts, Strong intelligent female lead, random android man, greek mythology names, sexy aliens, amazing special effects?
At this point Alien > The Matrix for me.
And I was pretty obsessed with that.
Strangely her hair looks flat in my Imac monitor, but not in my PS3 monitor that I drew it from...
(Yes I have a Playstation monitor. No it's really buggy. Stupid Maxwell.)
So I'm in an awkward pickle about that.

Your skin texture and the skin color is badass!
Just to point you to a part you want to keep in mind for your next portrait. The part where the upper and lower eyelids meet near the nose -there is almost always a brighter spot and that keeps that part of the face a bit more lively. but that is just really really minor.

i know what you mean with her looking younger.
but the reference - i think i found the same - is also very smooth - probably already filtered.
i like the brushes from Adonihs [link] and Rahll [link] very much and they have some great skin and pore brushes in it.
