How do you do fur? Β I've tried with oil pastels, but can't get it to look right. Β

I just do fur strokes with the pastels, and combine different colours in the fur

It sucks when oil pastels get like that. But it still looks amazing! As a critique to be helpful, I think the bridge of the forehead to the nose should be lower. But that's just me.

WAIT- the whiskers? I just used my nail to scratch the pastel away, but it kinda failed since it didn't scratch all of it away xD FAIL

WOAAAHHHH how??!?! JUST HOW?!?! Wow the fur structure is BEAST!! How did you get it to look so nice!? And the eye it's so realistic, woaaahh, really good work!
Just one crit point: you don't have a static light source (place where light is coming from) maybe you could try to use that in the future more.

You know what... I've just been staring at this for ages wondering 'How an earth did she do it?' Like... HOW? Which rhymes with WOW. Which was my first reaction to it. Like, how do you make it look real? You have done the fur perfectly! And the ear looks like an ear! It's all proportional and.... *shakes shoulders* HOW DO YOU DO IT!

They're supposed to be buttery so that they blend nicely, but mine leave shavings and scrape across the other colours rather than blend D: that's why there's tons of lines across the fur
