Maybe some of you remember this line art I did a few months ago. Finally got around to coloring it, and it was really fun! I should try to do others in this style. He looks like such a little chibi punk, doesn't he? Sans eyes...because that's AWESOME.Related content

I know I kinda went "did Riku get lost in the projects durring that year and what not, cause he sure got street"...ahh to be a teenager again, all the fads you go through and try

AAAAAAAH! Massive grin of glee here - he is *adorable*! And so *totally* gangsta, he's filled to the brim with chibi badassery! 
PS, *why* is Riku's hand bandaged in the game? He holds it pretty stiffly when he runs, too, like he's trying to keep it from jolting...

y'know...I always just thought that the thing was a random accessory, like an arm warmer or something, but who knows. I've seen enough fiction that tries to explain the arm thing. Like all things KH, details were apparently intentionally left on for the fans to decide what they want.
Honestly, when I first saw Riku in that outfit my brain went BUHH!? Like...honestly, it looks like NOTHING else in the game. He's just in pretty much normal street clothes really. Everyone else has these awesomely elaborate outfits with zippers and cloaks and bells and whistles, and then you get to Riku; the kid in the vest and jeans. COME ON SQUEENIX!!!
But...of course, over the years the look has grown on me. Originally I was like "I could do a better character design than that! Even entertained that idea of trying for one for a time, and then...I was lazy.
But yeah...this was really fun to do and I too am pleased with the outcome XD

Haha, it's definitely *incredibly* plain by comparison, especially when next to Sora - I noticed that right away (this time round). He doesn't get all the bells n whistles! But I definitely love the way it looks on him (probly coz it's hiiiiiim )

Nice colouring, and it's quite impressive how he manages to look so angsty and sullen and ready to fight, and yet so adorably CUTE at the same time. XD
