Hmmm.... looking at this again, it occurs to me that it's a bit odd Harvey isn't included in this conversation. Unlikely as it is, it's possible he is aware of Stripes sneaking around doing this. The only problem with that theory is that I can't see why Harvey would keep it hidden from everyone else when it could compromise the mission and endanger the Secret Freedom Fighters' lives. Never know, I guess.

That happened at 2 am? I guess that makes sense since raccoons are nocturnal. You'd think they would have at least locked the door to the computer room, though.
LOL! It's funny how often "hacking" comes up in comics, shows and so on, but the reality is that unless you have the exact password, you're not getting into someone's system. There's no way around it unless a bug was purposely included in the programming to create a login loophole. I doubt Nicole is that stupid.
I can't really pass any judgment yet because it hasn't been stated exactly what Stripes did on the computer. If he was alerting Eggman to the possibility of an attack or cutting off certain communication frequencies, then I have a major problem with him. But on the other hand, if he was trying to establish a direct connection to the plant so that he could transfer data from Eggman's computers to the ones in New Mobotropolis, then I can see why he'd be so secretive. Heck! Even if he was doing nothing but trying to disable his bracelet, I could give him the benefit of the doubt.
This appearance of betrayal could just be a ruse or it could be reality, but it's quite excellent at making your readers' jaws drop!

Похоже, наш полосатый друг пытается найти ответы к своим прошлым личным загадкам, пользуясь случаем. Ибо, если бы он оставался на стороне Эггмана, он выкинул бы фокусы ещё вчера и, тем более, что-нибудь да сделал бы с остальными.
Мне кажется. здесь по тексту нестыковка. Николь говорит Чарльзу, что кибератака произошла изнутри, т.е. в пределах системы. Но Страйпс и Ко в другом месте! Может, еноту удалось запустить дистанционное подключение с мнимым исходящим адрессом, м?
