supposedly the prince from Beauty and the Beast (what I was kinda thinking while painting this), but actually just some random androgynous guy inspired by Rembrandt
I suddenly wanted to paint a 16th century traditional portrait after playing Assassins Creed ;~;
If it looks like oils, YAY
it's using a digital painting program called Artrage that imitates oils. The aim was to have the viewer think this is just a normal 16th century portrait of a man, but upon closer inspection realize it's not what it seemed.. >w<''

Just saying that AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations take place at the end of the 15th century for AC2 and in the 16th century for the two others. None of the games take place in the 14th century, even the first is the 12th.
