"I can't believe I'm doing this," you muttered quietly, tugging down the hem of the black dress you were wearing. It ended a little high on your thighs for you to be entirely comfortable.

"Yeah, I can't either," Dean growled. He was standing beside you, wearing a suit. Cas stood behind you, dressed in one of Dean's other "FBI" suits. It looked a little big on him, but it worked better for the situation than his normal clothes. "At least you get to be with Cas, and not flirting with someone old enough to be your mom," he continued, glancing around the outdoor gardens.

"Yeah, yeah, suck it up," you muttered under your breath.

The museum loomed in front of the three of you. It had once been an old plantation, before it was turned into a museum. Tonight, it was holding a fancy exhibition showcasing some famous films they had recently acquired, and raising money for some charity or another. Dean had scored three tickets for you from a local "ghost enthusiast" that you had been getting help from. The plantation was haunted, and several freaky deaths recently had caught your attention.

Mrs. Alexandra Bonne appeared quite suddenly out of the cars around the three of you, beaming. She was a folklorist, and had a deep interest in the hauntings around the area. When you all had gone to her for help, she had become a huge asset. She was also the daughter of a locally wealthy family and had a lot of pull with the museum, hence how she had gotten you all tickets. She was an older woman in her mid-sixties, with long silver hair and a rather heavy set build. The silver dress she wore looked really becoming on her. Smirking, she sauntered up to Dean, fixing his tie smoothly. "You all look fancy tonight."

She turned to you and grinned before leaning forward conspiratorially. "The body is buried in the courtyard at the very center of the house, underneath the old magnolia tree. When they start the filming in the dining hall, you should be able to slip away out there. There's a gardening shed at the back corner that should have everything you need in it. Once the films start, they should all run just about two hours and fifteen minutes. Think you can dig up a body in that time?"

You shook your head a little, a small smile on your face. Bonne was enjoying this way too much. "We should be able to manage."

"What about your brother?" she asked, turning her attention to Dean.

"Talk to him just before you came, he's still with the vic's family, making sure nothing comes after them before we torch this sucker."

"Wonderful. Shall we go inside?" the woman smiled, offering her arm to Dean. Grumbling, he took it.

Cas gave you a curious look, apparently unsure as to what he should be doing. Laughing quietly, you wrapped your arm around his and followed Dean and Mrs. Bonne inside. You entered a large entrance hall. There were tables set with food, and a string quartet playing something with a distinct waltz-like beat from the top of a curved staircase. A few people lingered here and there, talking, but many more were sweeping around the center of the large room, dancing. Mrs. Bonne immediately pulled Dean out to the dance floor, grinning. You stood awkwardly inside the doorway with Cas.

"Should we do as they are doing?" Cas asked, leaning closer to you.

You blinked up at him for a moment. Dance with the incredibly attractive, amazingly powerful, and adorably innocent angel? Yes please! You tried to act cool. "If you want to," you answered.

He looked for a moment at the people dancing, then nodded firmly. He pulled you out into the center of the room and turned to face you. With a quick glance at the other dancers, he placed one hand on the small of your back, the other hand holding yours. You placed your hand against his shoulder as he stepped closer to you. Your breath hitched.

"Are you alright?" Cas asked, his blue eyes concerned.

"Yeah, fine, why would you ask?" you responded, fighting down the flutter of nerves in your stomach.

He opened his mouth to say something, and then closed it with a slight shake of his head. He glanced around at the people around you again before pulling you into the dance. You were a little surprised by how quickly he had picked up waltzing. Although you probably should have expected it, considering how quickly he picked up most things. Cas swung you around the entrance hall and you couldn't help but remember the days when you would pretend to be a princess as a little girl. Cas was like the prince you always dreamed about dancing with. You blushed a little and lowered your head so he wouldn't notice.

You had no idea how long you danced in his arms. It felt like it was forever, but only a second at the same time. The loud chirp of someone tapping a knife against a crystal glass got your attention. The strings stopped playing and everyone turned toward the sound of the jingling glass. An older gentleman in a suit was holding the glass. He beamed at the crowd. "We're going to begin showing the films in the dining hall, if you could all make your way there."

You stepped back from Cas, grinning up at him. "Show time."

You and Cas met Dean as the crowd began to move to the dining room. The three of you quickly snuck through the hall toward the center of the plantation until they found a set of glass french doors. You stepped out into a large square courtyard. Dean shrugged out of his suit jacket, tossing it toward Cas, and disappeared into the shadows of the far corner - where Mrs. Bonne had said a shed would be. Cas pulled his jacket off and handed both coats to you. You spent a moment shaking them out and draping them over your arm.

There was a large magnolia tree in the very center of the courtyard, already in full bloom. You and Cas met Dean over there. His arms were full, and he dropped it all with a clatter - two shovels, a canister of gasoline, a bag of rock salt. Grinning, Dean began to roll his sleeves up, then grabbed a shovel and started digging. Cas joined him quickly. You stood beside them, watching to make sure that no one noticed the three of you, trying to keep your heels from getting stuck in the dirt. Just in case.

Time was beginning to run short, but the guys managed to dig up the bone of Jenna Black, the ghost you were after. You snatched up the bag of salt as they scrambled out of the hole and began to pour it over the body. Dean grabbed the gas and started dumping that too. He pulled a box of matches from his pants pocket. Striking it, he dropped it into the hole. Flames flared up, throwing shadows across the three of you.

"Alright, now let's get out of here," Dean said.

"Before anyone notices," you agreed, handing the boys back their jackets.

The three of you quickly made your way back through the museum. You all piled into the Impala and headed for your hotel. Dean dropped you and Cas off, and then went to pick up Sam. Quickly, you grabbed some clothes and ducked into the bathroom to change. When you came back, Cas was waiting, his jacket and tie removed.

"Is something the matter?" you asked as he turned to look at you.

He looked away for a moment. When he turned back, he was frowning a little. "I was hoping we could continue what we were doing earlier."

You paused in packing away your dress, confused. "Burning a body?"

"Dancing."

Your heart skipped a beat Slowly, you turned to him, half expecting him to say that he was joking. His expression was serious. "Oh. Uh. Yeah, sure."

You stepped close to him and Cas reached out to wrap his arms around your waist, pulling you in closer. You wrapped your arms around his neck, blushing as you looked up into his eyes. Slowly, Cas began to swirl you around the motel room. He held your body close to his. You blushed. Butterflies tickled your stomach. After a moment, you shifted closer, leaning your head against Cas's shoulder.

"Are you....enjoying this, _____?" Cas murmured quietly.

Your heart did a flip. "Yeah."

"Good."

"Aw, aren't they adorable, Sammy?"

You jumped back from Cas and spun toward the door. Sam and Dean were standing there. Dean had the biggest grin on his face. You blushed bright red.

"Shut up, Dean!"
