Description My two latest customs. Molly is a resculpted G1 Arab Mare to a prego pintabian and Aerosmith is a resculpted G1 Arab Stud to a strutting casanova. I'm thinking about showing these two.....eventually.

Thanks hun! I'm glad you like them. I am taking a few commissions. Did you have a model that you wanted to ship to me to complete or did you want me to buy the model and add it to the commission cost? It also depends on the size and the coloring.

I tried repainting one of my Stablemates once... I thought it looked cool but I had to give it a bunch of texture because a smooth coat was a lost cause. I used acyrlics... I take it you don't?

A way to get acrylics to work is to water it down and do small layers at a time. Or do a base coat in spray paint and go over the horse with the darker colors until it looks right. I use watered down white acrylics to do the whites on my horses. It's a pain when they're a paint because I end up puttin on 45-60 layers.

I hear it's best to spray the paint on or use a chalk pastel method where you grind it up into a dust and brush it on layer by layer, putting a finisher over each layer, until it's as dark as you like.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Fire n Ash, lol.

Yup! Molly was done solely with pastel dust...layer and layer after layer. Haha! Aerosmith was done with airbrushed acrylics and pastel detailing.

Show them more than once. Never take one judge's opinion as law. And sometimes it depends on where you live.

They are beautful though. Hopefully I'll have extra money when you put them up on ebay.

They and a few others are showing at Lone Star Live tomorrow. I've never shown any of my horses before, but my Proxy knows what she's doing.
