Well here I am with another Death Battle meme. This time it's between the Ghost Host from The Haunted Mansion and the Phantom from the Disneyland Paris version, Phantom Manor. Now unlike my usual takes on the Death Battle memes, these characters from two different versions of one of the most popular Disney attractions and my personal favortie next to Pirates of the Caribbean. But which one is scarier and which spirit could win this battle?

Both the Ghost Host and the Phantom greet you as you enter their houses invisible, so you only hear their voices. Master Gracey, aka the Ghost Host, was voiced by Paul Frees, who was most famous for playing the voice of Professor Ludwig Von Drake and several characters in the Pirates Of The Caribbean attraction. I mean if you heard that voice, you'd probably thought it was one of the Princes of Horror, Vincent Price. Actually Disney casted Price as the Phantom of the Manor. However, he was originally going to speak the lines in both English and French, but since he was no good at pronouncing his French lines, he was replaced. But they still kept his laughing for most of the scenes of the attraction.

While the Ghost Host remains unseen, but heard throughout the tour of the Mansion, the Phantom makes his earie appearances in different areas of the Manor, trying to keep you, his victims in his home. The only times we see the Ghost Host are in the stretching room where the lighting flashes reaveling his skeleton hanging on a rope in the rafters. Whereas the Phantom is first seen in that room, but hanging an innocent man who was going to marry the bride of that Manor. In fact, legend has it that the Phantom is actually Melanie the bride's father, Henry Ravenswood!
